Your presentation must be impeccable / perfect / spotless:

Use a pen

Your words must  be readable : the handwriting must be neither too big nor too small

- Use highlighters and a pencil to spot the main information

- Do not waste your time, leave enough time for each exercise

- Be sure to understand the questions

- Be sure to follow the instructions

= avoid to be off topic

- Make sure you answer the questions completely (do not forget half of it)

- Save some time to read your test again and do some corrections if necessary

You have to quote the text. There is usually one question that asks you to justify your answer in your own words and then it will be clearly expressed in the instructions

-  « …………. » ( l. 3)

- « …………. » (l. 3-5)

- « …………. » ( l. 3)

- « …………. » ( l. 3)

Questions:

  1. Do not assume that you can more or less guess the answers : you have to pay very close attention to the words and find the proof (s) in the text.

  1. A common mistake: the illogical answers: « right » + a quote that proves the statement is wrong😕
  2. There may be several quotes.

d) The quotes may be either long or short. If they are long, start with « the subject and the verb … three words at the end »
